Also, see ‘How to Configure Hikvision CCTV IP Camera For NVR‘. Hikvision NVR’s camera needs to be Port forward to see footage remotely. If the port is not forwarded then you can not view the outdoor remotely CCTV camera footage.
Follow Steps To Cyberoam Firewall Port Forwarding:
I’m using Cyberoam Firewall as I forward the port of NVR to it. Now you can log in to Cyberoam Firewall to forward port of NVR. Enter username and password to login Cyberoam Firewall.
Now when you log in to Cyberoam Firewall, let us now add a Virtual Host. Now go to the Firewall tab and click on the Add button to go to the Virtual Host menu.

Let’s do Port Forwarding Basic Settings in the Virtual Host. Name Virtual Host as ‘CCTV NVR-1′, add NVR’s Public IP’ in the ‘External IP’ and add NVR’s to Local IP in the ‘Mapped IP’. Select the LAN in the Physical Zone.
Now let’s do the port forward. NVR has four ports 1) HTTP port 2) RTSP port 3) Server Port 4) HTTPS Port. Below you can see the ports and ports numbers.
Hikvision NVR ports:
HTTP Port = 80
RTSP Port = 554
Server Port = 8000
HTTPS Port = 443
To forward the port, first, click on ‘Enable Port Forwarding‘. Now you enter 1) HTTP Port 2) RTSP Port 3 Server Port. Select the port list as shown in the snapshot and enter the port comma and enter. After all the settings, click the OK button.
At the top, you make the virtual host and enable the port forward. Now let’s create a firewall rule for NVR’s port. After the NVR’s port’s forward, you can create a rule in which an automatic firewall rule will open windows. To create a manual rule, go to the Rule option in the Firewall tab and click on the Add button.

After creating an automatic firewall rule, you can see General Settings in the following snapshots. Select a zone like WAN to LAN.
The following snapshot does not need to make any changes you can make if you want to make changes. I’m just going to enable ‘Log Firewall Traffic‘.
Now you can configure a CCTV camera with public IP and server port on your mobile.
