Hide Disk Drive With Disk Management:
Now go to the run by pressing the windows button and R and then entering ‘diskmgmt.msc‘ this command will open the Disk Management window. Right, click on the drive which you want to hide and click on ‘Change Drive Letter and Paths‘.
Click on ‘Remove‘ to hide the ‘D’ drive as shown in the snapshot shown below.
Now you have to say ‘some programs that run correctly’ Are you sure you want to remove this drive letter? ‘ When you ask for confirmation, then click Yes. Now the ‘D’ drive in My Computer will hide.
Show Drive With Disk Management:
Now to show the drive again, go to ‘Disk Management‘ and right-click the drive again and click on the ‘Change Drive Letter and Paths‘ option. Now click on Add and select ‘Assign the following drive letter‘ and select the letter (D)of the drive and click OK.
Hide Disk Drive With Windows Registry:
Now lets you Hide the Disk Drive in My Computer from Registry tricks. To open Registry, press Windows Key + R and type regedit. Now go according to the following path according to the Registry Editor open.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE –> Software –> Microsoft –> Windows –> CurrentVersion ->Explorer
Now right-click on the Explorer and create a new DWORD Value (32-bit) and rename it to ‘NoDrives‘.
Now double click it to open NoDrives and set the value data according to the following drive as well, select the base decimal.
A: 1, B: 2, C: 4, D: 8, E: 16, F: 32, G: 64, H: 128, I: 256, J: 512, K: 1024, L: 2048, M: 4096, N: 8192, O: 16384, P: 32768, Q: 65536, R: 131072, S: 262144, T: 524288, U: 1048576, V: 2097152, W: 4194304, X: 8388608, Y: 16777216, Z: 33554432, All: 67108863
I’m just going to hide the D drive so that the value above is 8 for D as per the above value. Now restart the computer and see if the drive is hidden.
If you want to show an again hidden drive, delete registry key.

Hide Disk Drive With Group Policy:
Here, we are going to hide Disk Drive with Group Policy tricks, So let’s open the group policy editor by entering gpedit.msc command in Run. Now go to the Windows Explorer as per the following path.
User Configuration/Administrative Templates/Windows Components/Windows Explorer
In Windows Explorer, double-click on ‘Hide these specific drives in My Computer‘ option and open it and Select the drive which you want to hide in the drop-down Options. Now Apply the setting.
To show the drive again, again open ‘Hide these specific drives in My Computer‘ and set ‘Not Configured‘ into it.
Hide Disk Drive With Command Prompt:
Here we are going to hide Disk Drive by ‘Command Prompt Tricks‘. Now open Command Prompt and type Diskpart. Now a new Diskpart window will open, type List Volume, then you will see a list of Drive. In it, write the number followed by the drive which you want to hide and select Volume. I will just hide the D drive here, so I will enter the command like ‘Select Volume 3’ And then enter the command ‘Remove Letter D’ so that your drive will be hidden.
Enter ‘Command Assign Letter D‘ to show the disk drive again.
